A buyout of Treloyhan Manor raised £10,000 at a charity auction for Peter Jones Foundation, at their 20th Anniversary Charity Shoot Day hosted at the prestigious Holland & Holland Shooting Ground, London.

Around 150 guests and sponsors enjoyed a morning’s shooting, champagne reception, three-course meal and an auction, contributing over £200,000 for the charity.

Among the distinguished guests were Touker Suleyman, entrepreneur and Dragon from the BBC’s Dragons’ Den, and James Jordan, popular English ballroom dancer and choreographer.

The funds will directly support the delivery of the Peter Jones Foundation programmes across the UK, continuing their mission to inspire and equip young people, particularly those from under-served and under-represented communities.

James Hemming, General Manager at Treloyhan Manor, said: "Supporting the Peter Jones Foundation through the auction is a proud moment for us.

“Knowing that the funds raised will help create real opportunities for young people across the UK makes this contribution especially meaningful.

“We look forward to welcoming the winner and their guests, and delivering an exquisite experience here in St Ives."

Peter Jones CBE said:  “My Foundation has been helping to empower young people for 20 years and it’s more important than ever to provide young people with the right mix of support and opportunity, to help them fulfil their potential and the right to a brighter future.

“Days like today allow us to raise vital funds towards our charitable programmes that make a difference across the country, and I am so grateful for all the support that everyone has shown.

“Business changed my life, and I am delighted that we can change many more lives with the money raised at today’s PJF Shoot event.”

Treloyhan Manor was built by local shipping magnate, Edward Hain, as his private family home on the cliff tops of St Ives, Cornwall, in 1892.

It opened as a luxury hotel in 2025 following a £25m investment and renovation of the building and estate that seamlessly blends charming history and modern elegance, into 23 distinct self-serviced suites and lodges, with a 24hr concierge for the exquisite escape on Cornwall's coast.
